Online Safety
Online Safety at Waverton Primary School
At Waverton Primary School, keeping our children safe online is a vital part of our safeguarding commitment. We want our pupils to enjoy the benefits of technology while learning how to use it responsibly and safely.
Our Commitment
We teach online safety as part of our Computing, PSHE and RSE curriculum.
We use secure filtering and monitoring systems to protect children while they are using the internet in school.
Our staff receive regular training so they can support children with online safety.
We work in partnership with parents and carers to help children stay safe at home as well as at school.

We follow our Online Safety Rules, which you can find in every classroom.
If something online makes you feel worried, upset or unsafe, tell a trusted adult straight away.
