Art and design

The Art and Design curriculum at Waverton Primary School is designed to be ambitious, creative and knowledge rich. It aims to nurture children’s imagination and equip them with the skills, vocabulary, and confidence to express themselves visually. Art enables pupils to understand and respond to the world through colour, line, form, texture, and pattern. They learn how artists, craftspeople and designers communicate ideas and shape the environments around us.
