This term we will be learning:

English	Poetry – At the Zoo by William Thackarey. Rhyming strings and writing own list poem based on original. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. Writing a letter and writing own version – mini book.
Maths	Introduction to length and height. Introduction to Mass and capacity. Multiplication and division. Simple Fractions.
Science	Plants – observing and describing how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants. Labelling the parts of a plant. Finding out what plants need to grow and stay healthy.
Computing
Geography	What are the key features in our local are? Looking at the school grounds, aerial plans, map work, google earth.
DT	D.T. - Freestanding structures. Design and make a playground structure after a field trip to the playground.
Music	Charanga Unit– Your imagination
PE	Outdoor mulitskills games and athletics
PSHE	Health and Wellbeing- It’s my body. What can help us grow and stay healthy?
RE	How and why are Allah and Muhammad important to Muslims?
